Analysis Procedure of Measuring Cup

1.0     Description:

    • Sample shall be checked against the approved standard for design, color & alignment.

2.0     Height:

    • The height of minimum five samples shall be measured with the help of Vernier caliper or Scale.
    • The maxima and minima of five samples shall be noted.

3.0     Average Weight:

    • The weight of minimum five samples shall be checked on balance  and calculate the average weight by given below formulae.

4.0     Diameter:

    • The outer and inner diameter of minimum five samples shall be measured with the help of Vernier caliper.
    • The maxima and minima of five samples shall be noted.
      • Outer Diameter at Top
      • Outer Diameter at Bottom
      • Inner Diameter

5.0     Over flow Capacity:

    • Carry out the overflow capacity test of the given sample by the help of Burette.
    • Repeat the same procedure for at least 5 sample and note the value.

6.0     Measuring Scale:

    • The Measuring scale on the cup  with the marking of 2.5 ml, 5.0 ml and 10.0 ml shall be verified using calibrated Burette by pouring milli-Q water  of respective volume in ml and check the matching with the respective scale .
    • It should not be more than   +  0.1 ml.
